07:30 – Meet your guide in Cao Bang City
Start the day with a traditional Cao Bang breakfast, such as rice rolls, roasted duck noodle soup, or sour pho, some of the region’s signature dishes.
08:00 – Scenic drive through the UNESCO Global Geopark
We depart Cao Bang City and follow one of the most beautiful routes in the Non Nuoc Cao Bang UNESCO Global Geopark.
Stop at Ma Phuc Pass, a spectacular “natural gateway” formed between two limestone mountains, one of the region’s unique geological heritage sites.
09:00 – Visit a traditional craft village
Enjoy a short walk through a peaceful Nung ethnic village. Along the village roads, you’ll see traditional stilt houses and experience authentic daily life.
You’ll also learn about traditional paper-making from friendly local families and even try making paper yourself with their guidance.
11:00 – Explore Nguom Ngao (Tiger) Cave (approx. 40 minutes)
Discover one of Vietnam’s most beautiful limestone caves, famous for its impressive rock formations and fossil traces from an ancient prehistoric sea.
11:30 – Truc Lam Ban Gioc Zen Monastery
Next, we visit Truc Lam Zen Monastery. Climb up for a panoramic viewpoint overlooking Ban Gioc Waterfall, surrounded by dramatic mountains and peaceful rice fields on the Vietnamese side.
12:00 – Lunch at a local restaurant near Ban Gioc
13:00 – Ban Gioc Waterfall
After lunch, we visit the breathtaking Ban Gioc Waterfall, one of Vietnam’s most iconic natural wonders. Watch the powerful cascades tumble into the river below, framed by lush rice fields and towering karst peaks.
You’ll also have the option to take a boat ride closer to the falls, feeling the cool mist on your face. From the middle of the river, you can clearly see the natural border between Vietnam and China.
14:30 – Quay Son River & Phong Nam Valley
Continue the journey along the emerald-green Quay Son River, passing through Phong Nam Valley, a charming countryside landscape that looks like a watercolour painting.
16:00 – Angel Eye Mountain
Our final stop is the Angel Eye Mountain, one of the most impressive natural landmarks in the Cao Bang UNESCO Global Geopark, known for its unique rock formation and stunning open valley views.
17:00 – Return to Cao Bang City
We head back to Cao Bang City and drop you off at your hotel.

Cancellation Policy
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start time
- 100% charged for cancellation with in 24 hours before departure or no show
Children Policy
- From 1-4 years old: Free of charge, sharing the service with parents. (Surcharged 15 usd/seat if request a private seat for child from 1-4 years old)
- From 5-8 years old: 75% of charge (Appy for 1 child, the second child will be charged 100% of adults)
- From 9 years old and up : 100% of adults
Notes for guests
This tour is designed for self-riding by motorbike. To ride legally in Vietnam, guests must have a valid International Motorbike Driving Permit. Before departure, guests will sign a liability waiver. If you don’t have an international license or prefer not to self-ride, you can choose one of the two alternative options we provide:
- Option 1: Ride on the back of a motorbike with a local driver – an extra USD 25 per driver per day applies, payable in cash
- Option 2: Private car – an extra USD 60 per car per day applies, payable in cash (max. 5 passengers; you can share the cost with others in the same car).
Be prepared for a full day of adventure, covering around 200 km, and make sure you’re ready both physically and mentally.
